Leopards with Blue Teeth!
October 26th, 2007After running a clean install of Leopard, which came free with a purchase of a new Imac after 6:00 p.m. this afternoon, is up and running quite smoothly. So far I am extremely impressed with the performance. Of course I could do without tracking down all my installers and serial numbers, but that is what happens when you decide to do a clean install. Also adding to the complexity of the process is adding my gmail account to Mail via gmail’s new imap feature.
The imap was heavily anticipated and it seems to work pretty good, now if only I didn’t have 7000 emails to go through and file away. The bluetooth keyboard and mouse, bought mostly on an iPhone rebate is working quite nicely as well. Soon I’ll be posting a more in-depth review dealing heavily with Leopards interaction in a corporate environment dominated by Microsoft technology.
Blogging from the iPhone
July 9th, 2007I was wondering how difficult it would be to post from my iPhone. It seems pretty easy! The tags are a little rough, but overall not too bad.
A new start.
February 4th, 2007I think it’s about time I started doing something with my site here. I have been spending most of my web designing time working on websites for friends and family while neglecting my own. But now my wordpress is upgraded, and I am working on a similar site so I have no good excuse for not finishing this up. I guess we will see.
Summer’s End
September 1st, 2006The start of the fall semester may not bring with it the actual season, but to students it does bring an end to the summer. As depressing as that thought alone can be, I am comforted by the fact that it also signals the start of College Football. And when your team is the defending champs it doesn’t get any better (well perhaps a later kickoff time for the opener to allow for more pre-game celebration). So tomorrow it is off to DKR Memorial Stadium for Texas vs UNT. The game should not be much of a contest, but the fans will still watch intently hoping to catch a glimpse of what the rest of the season might offer.
Back to the drawing board.
August 31st, 2006I’m about to attempt this whole blogging thing one more time, if for no other reason than to help me organize and focus. First things first, the design should be finished by Labor Day. I also plan on covering a wider range of topics than before. I guess we will see how this round plays out.
